"I have learnt that although you may be clear in your vision, you must communicate to others, otherwise there will remain a void; a void that someone else will fill if you don’t. Clear and concise communication is essential to achieving your vision."
Che came to ARLP Course 16 in 2010 as a retired professional footballer who played elite football for the Essendon and Port Adelaide Football clubs.
He joined Santos in 2009 as the Aboriginal Employment and Training Adviser, and is now Cultural Heritage Field Supervisor based at Santos’ Roma operations in Queensland.
Previously Che had an advisory role to the Premier of South Australia and was the Director of the Indigenous Sports Academy at Rostrevor College. Che helps Aboriginal communities reach their dreams by creating alliances and reaffirming cultural values.
