When Sue Benedyka first started the Australian Rural Leadership Program in 1997, she alreadyhad many strings to her bow - one of which was as Chief Executive Officer of Dubbo City Development Corporation. She was also on the Executive of the Orana Area Consultative Committee, Member of the Orana Regional Development Board, inaugural Chairman of Charles Sturt University Dubbo, on the Board of Governors of Charles Sturt University, Deputy Chairman of National Trust Macquarie Regional Committee, Member of the National Women’s Advisory Group and Convenor and Founder of Women Out West.

Now, Sue is the founder and Managing Director of the Regional Development Company Pty Ltd (RDC) where she acts upon her passion for regional development.

She is involved in all aspects of planning, developing, and facilitating positive futures for rural communities, with an extensive, wide-ranging client base.

Sue's great strength is the way in which she uses her highly developed communication and facilitations skills to enable other people’s visions to become reality.
