In the lead up to Christmas 2015, the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation has established a giving tree at our office (Unit 3, 24 Napier Close, DEAKIN, ACT) and we are looking for donations for the Early Morning Centre Christmas lunch. The Early Morning Centre provides breakfast for homeless people within the Civic area. The Centre also provides tea and coffee outside its doors for those who find it difficult to mix with others. The Centre is respectful of all people who come along for a meal and helps patrons to build relationships and friendships through its services.
The Early Morning Centre is holding a Christmas lunch on 17 December for its patrons and they need a number of items that we hope you can help provide. These items can be dropped off at the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation or if you are a member of CRUIZ Swim Club, please leave the items in the CRUIZ cage (or see the Foundation's Dr Jenny Andrew, and she can pick items up). Alternatively, Jenny can come and collect items if you are not too far away (email email@example.com).
Items needed for the Christmas lunch:
Boxes of chocolates (for lucky door prizes)
Lollies (for the tables)
Single packs of cereal
Cup of soup packets (the packets that just require hot water to be added)
Small UHT milk
Small individual fruit juice drinks (unsweetened)
Sugar-free chewing gum
Single pack of sultanas
440g can of baked beans with a ring pull opener
Cup of noodles (the packs that just require hot water to be added)
