Future directions: Matt Linnegar
To the Foundation alumni, partners, sponsors and friends,
Soon after taking on the role of Chief Executive of the Foundation mid last year, I contacted our alumni, partners and friends, inviting you to be part of our future direction. I am delighted in your thoughtful and widespread response.
Our invitation to participate took a number of forms including;
- a series of kitchen table chats right across the regions
- a follow up survey in partnership with Revelian
- a perceptions audit in partnership with Newgate Communications
- my discussions with many of you around the country
These initiatives recognise that while the ARLF Board and Chief Executive are charged with the responsibility of setting the strategic direction of the organisation, this would be incomplete without your valued feedback.
The information stemming from these initiatives has been carefully considered and will now form a vital basis for strategic discussions to be held between the ARLF Board and staff in late February.
We want to ensure our relationship with you in strengthened through this process and as such will be in contact with you again soon after our planning day.
In the meantime and to give you a sense of the collective feedback you provided, attached is a snapshot of feedback around some of the key questions we asked. These questions focused on why the ARLF exists and what it's focus should be as well as feedback on the relationship between the Foundation and it's alumni and partners.
I hope you find this interesting and I look forward to our continued discussions and in working together to build a stronger ARLF.
