Fellow's question ignites Q&A debate
9 February 2015 | ABC Q&A | National
Some of the most passionate debate on this particular Q&A episode was inspired by Fellow John Hamparsum. The ARLP Course 8 graduate's question about the Liverpool Plains land threatened by Shenhua's open cut Watermark coal mine, sparked an unlikely alliance between Reserve Bank board member Heather Ridout, and talk back radio's Alan Jones. Both backed the long term value of food production over the finite extraction of coal. Check out John's moment at the 39 minute mark.
